Rankings / Corrections
Corrections policy
If you think a figure or explanation is wrong, email [email protected]. Include the page URL and enough detail to find the issue.
How to report an error
Tell us the airline, aircraft, airport or route, the data year and the figure or wording in question. Link to the original filing or another public source, explain the difference and show any calculation you've made. You can use the downloadable data and methodology to check our result.
What we fix
We check reports about calculation errors, mismatched records, incorrect labels, broken source links and explanations that don't match the method. We compare the report with the source filings and the calculation. An estimated regional split can differ from a published contract mix; we check whether the estimate and its limits are described accurately rather than treating it as a reported figure. The regional partner definition explains that distinction.
When a source filing changes, we rebuild the affected figures from that source. A request to change a grade without supporting evidence isn't a correction.
How fixes are dated
For a confirmed error that changes a figure or its meaning, we add a correction note to the affected page stating what changed and the date the fix was published. A change to the calculation method is also described on the methodology page. The page's content date changes for a substantive correction or refreshed data; a spelling, layout or rebuild-only change doesn't get a new content date.
